Camping Trip - Winder, GA
03.19.2004-03.21.2004

A couple of years ago, my dad bought a pop-up camper. We had gone camping a good bit when we were kids, but it was always in a tent. A camper is a beast of a whole different nature. To be honest, going camping in a camper (or RV for that matter) is pretty easy compared to setting up and living in a tent for a couple of days. There are beds, tables, sink, hot water, stove, and refrigerator all in one package. Kind of neat.

So Hilary and I joined my parents and our nephew Alexander for a camping trip over the weekend. It was a nice campground on the edge of a lake (can't remember the name of the place off the top of my head). We had fun playing games and going fishing, and just being outdoors.

Alexander is getting a fishing lesson from Dad (Paw-Paw). Sometimes you just can't get a 3 year old to pose for a picture. Home sweet home...for the weekend.

Alexander whooped my butt in horseshoes, but I'm practicing for next time. Time to get a little bit of that sugar off those teeth! Here's an outside shot of our camping digs.

Alexander and I were just hanging out. Sometimes that's all you do. If only we'd had a boat, we could have taken this pic from the water! (Obviously)

How risque! A picture of Hilary showering! Ooh la la! My dad and I cooked up some beef stew for dinner. Yum!
